The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is proud to have amazing staff of current UC Berkeley students. They help us get the word out about the amazing opportunities at Berkeley throughout their own robust and diverse experiences. Our student staff are leaders around campus and have taken advantage of the opportunities available to them at UC Berkeley. They participate in student government, public service, and other student activities and internships.

Student Advisor:
An OUA Student Advisor assists with the outreach efforts of the admissions office and is a critical point of contact for prospective students and families through phone calls, our in-person and virtual front desks, live/online chat, and various in-person and virtual events.
General Position Hours: Flexible hours within Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm with some evening and weekend hours for special events or meetings
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Per Week: Up to 20
Pay Rate: $16.99 per hour

Communications Assistant:
The Communications Assistant is a new student position in OUA that will help to support social media communications channels (with an emphasis on TikTok), to promote Berkeley’s admissions efforts and expand audience engagement from current to prospective students.
General Position Hours: Flexible hours
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Per Week: ~10
Pay Rate: $16.99 per hour
