The Bakar BioEnginuity Hub is a home for life science entrepreneurship that hosts a world-class biotech incubator, Bakar Labs, and Campus Programs that bridge the gap between academia and entrepreneurship. We invite you to join us for one of our two info sessions which will include a half hour presentation on entrepreneurship resources on campus followed by a tour of our facilities. We will have a maximum of 40 students per session.

Student Panel: Finding Support for Diverse Communities at the Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence
Student panelists who are part of the Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence (CE3) frosh programs will discuss their decision to attend UC Berkeley, adjustment to university life, and tips on getting involved in campus and access support. Envision Haas is an information session available to students from community college or other 4-year colleges/universities who are considering transferring to the Business major at UC Berkeley. In this admissions information session, we will cover the business major and the application process. Imagine UC was a person. If we met face-to-face, what would you want us to know about you? These personal insight questions allow you to tell us. You could write about your creative side. Your thoughts on leadership. A challenge you’ve faced. Whatever questions you answer, make sure you show us your personality—just as you would in real life. Join us to hear first-hand from an admissions officer how to approach writing your PIQ's and how they are used in our holistic admissions review process.

Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) Empowering innovators to change the world
Interested in launching a startup? We invite you to join our information session to hear about SCET’s real-world curriculum that develops lifelong skills, leading to career opportunities with innovative companies and new ventures. During this session, you will also have the chance to ask questions and interact with our SCET staff and students. Staff will talk about our courses and how they help students gain the insight, exposure and practical training they need to become leaders and innovators. Listen in to learn more about our Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology, which is open to students from all majors.

Learn about Strawberry Creek, an urban creek running through campus, creek restoration projects, and green infrastructure.

Tour of the Jacobs Hall Makerspace
Take a guided tour of Cal's state-of-the-art design and fabrication facility, the Jacobs Hall Makerspace. Tours cover all 8,000+ square feet of the Makerspace, including digital fabrication, woodshop, Soft Lab (textiles), electronics, metal shop, the Advanced Prototyping Lab and more.

Lab Rats: Q&A with UC Berkeley Science Student Organizations and Undergraduate Researchers
The Toxicology Student Association in collaboration with other UC Berkeley Registered Student Organizations presents an introduction to research and student panel to introduce new students to the many diverse communities and opportunities on campus that support undergraduates interested in getting involved with science and research at UC Berkeley. Shaping Global Voices: A Student Panel on Studying Language & Literature at Berkeley
Did you know that Berkeley teaches 60 languages? In this panel, you'll hear from current students who are studying languages and literatures and who came to Berkeley as both first-year and transfer admits. Learn how their classes and majors are preparing them to become global citizens, engage with local communities, and interact meaningfully with people and ideas across our fast-changing world. Sather Tower, also known as the Campanile, is one of UC Berkeley’s most beloved and well-known symbols. Visible for miles at 307 feet, the Campanile is the second-tallest freestanding clock and bell tower in the world. Get a spectacular, sprawling view of the Bay Area from the observation platform, accessible via an elevator and 38 stairs.
The Campanile will be open and free to Showcase attendees from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 2.

Rausser College of Natural Resources - Tour the Rausser College Student Resource Center where students find community and get support from their Rausser College Advisors. Have one on one time with Rausser College Advisors and the Assistant Director of Advising & Operations. Come experience first-hand why Rausser College Advisors are consistently rated highly by their students!

UC Botanical Garden - The 34-acre UC Botanical Garden is one of the most diverse landscapes in the world, with over 10,000 types of plants from around the world. Come enjoy this beautiful space, located just above campus. If you are driving to the garden, there are two UC Berkeley managed lots available:
1. The parking lot located directly across the street from the Garden entrance
2. The Lawrence Hall of Science lot, located above the Garden toward Grizzly Peak Blvd., with access to the Garden via a three minute free shuttle ride.
A shuttle is available seven days a week:
• Monday through Friday: The campus Hill shuttle runs Monday through Friday, every 30 minutes, starting at 8:30 a.m. This includes free rides between the Lawrence Hall of Science parking lot and the Garden. (See the H Line Shuttle link for detailed schedule and route.)
• Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: The Garden Overflow Parking Shuttle runs on Saturday, Sunday and holidays when the Garden is open, approximately every 15-20 minutes from 10 a.m.–5:15 p.m. This free shuttle only runs between the Garden and the Lawrence Hall of Science parking lot. The parking lot rate is $1.50 per hour. Please note that the lots are managed by the University of California at Berkeley. Pay by entering your license plate number and using a credit card at a lot machine, or, use the Pay By Phone app. Save time and avoid the hassle of waiting in line: before you leave home download the Pay By Phone app. Convenient and easy to use, plus, via the app you can extend your stay while strolling the Garden. Please note that parking is limited and not guaranteed.
Accessible parking: There are accessible parking spaces available in each lot (rate is $1.50 per hour), and the shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

Be Green: Please consider carpooling, or taking ride share to the Garden. Biking or walking up to the Garden is only recommended for active guests comfortable walking uphill 30+ minutes. There are bike racks available at the entrance to the Garden.
