Plan Your Visit.

A visit to UC Berkeley is the best way to discover the many facets to a well-rounded, rich, and dynamic student experience. No matter how much you've read or heard about Berkeley, nothing can compare to seeing it for yourself!

Stroll along Sproul Plaza, meet our students, listen to an Admissions presentation, talk to advisers, visit a residence hall, and maybe even run into one of our Nobel Prize-winning faculty.

Here’s how you can plan your visit.

  1. Attend an undergraduate admissions presentation offered on weekdays to learn about the application process. REGISTER HERE (required).
  2. Join a campus tour led by trained student ambassadors.  Visitor Services offers tours seven days a week, including most campus administrative holidays. For more information and to reserve a tour, visit the Visitor Services website.
  3. Attend a class or visit a residence hall. Prospective students can dig even deeper into the Berkeley experience by obtaining a “class pass” from the Visitors Center or scheduling a tour of our residence halls.
  4. Find out what’s happening on campus. From museums and performances to lectures and sporting events, something interesting is always happening here. Find out about specific venues, or check the Events calendar. For the ultimate Berkeley experience, come to Cal Day, our annual open house held in April.
