Free Application for Federal Student Aid
Any student who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs should complete a FAFSA form.
Dream Act Application
The Dream Act application allows eligible students to qualify for state and institutional financial aid. Learn more about who is eligible for the California Dream Act.
*UC Berkeley’s federal school code is 001312. California residents must complete a FAFSA and a GPA Verification form for Cal Grant consideration.
Scholarships
Admitted students are automatically considered for scholarships. UC Berkeley offers a variety of scholarship programs that can help you fund your education.
International students are ineligible for federal, state, and need-based university financial aid. Only U.S. citizens, eligible non-citizens and AB 540 eligible students can be awarded federal, state and/or institutional need-based financial aid. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office provides various suggestions to international students about financial aid.
